Nick has posted the first five minutes of the upcoming DreamWorks Animation film, Megamind, starring Will Ferrell, Brad Pitt, Tina Fey, Jonah Hill and David Cross.
The comedy concerns two alien beings who get the Superman treatment and end up on Earth as babies, with very different abilities and upbringings. The trailers already looked good, except for this one, which was quite spoilery about a key point brought up in the first one. But since then, I’ve seen one or two promos somewhere that also spoiled it, so at this point, I guess it doesn’t matter. But the below clip does look like it encapsulates quite well the backstory and gets the film off to a quick start. Looking forward to seeing it.
Megamind opens in 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D theaters on November 5th.
