Tonight was the MTV Movie Awards. For those of you smart enough to stay away (like me!), some of the highlights – movie-wise, not awards-wise – have started showing up online. The show featured a premiere of a new clip from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which is embedded below. It’s a scene where Harry views Dumbledore’s memories of his first meeting with young Tom Riddle, the Boy Who Would Be Voldemort. We’ve already seen bits of this in the trailers, but you can’t say enough nice things about that inky pensieve effect.
