Am I the only person who’s never read or watched The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo? Feels like it. I’ve got to get cracking on it before two things- the American adaptation hits, and the Swedish trilogy finishes up. I’ve got less than a month for the latter.

The synopsis, which may contain spoilers:

In
THE GIRL WHO KICKED THE HORNETS’ NEST – the final installment of the
“Millenium Trilogy” – Lisbeth Salander is fighting for her life in more
ways than one. In intensive care and charged with three murders, she
will not only have to prove her innocence, but also identify and
denounce those corrupt government institutions that very nearly
destroyed her life. Once upon a time, she was a victim. Now Salander is
fighting back.

Yahoo! Movies has just premiered the first American trailer for The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet’s Nest, which comes with what seems like an inappropriately epic score, and of course, no native dialogue. Poor Swedes.

This third and final entry will be opening in theaters in limited release on October 29th, right after the second installment (The Girl Who Played With Fire) hits On-Demand and DVD on October 26th.

Check Music Box Films’ site to see if Hornet’s Nest will be playing near you.
