I’ve been hearing some mixed stuff on The Fourth Kind, the alien abduction film that Universal is trying to position as Extra-Terrestrial Activity. Some folks say it’s creepy and effective and some folks say… well, that it’s not creepy and effective. But so far nobody is saying it stinks!
While the movie’s claims to ‘reality’ seem exceptionally dubious (try Googling any of the people or facts presented in the trailers), alien abduction phenomena is real. Or at least it’s really reported in the real world. Whether or not people are actually being snatched and then having their snatches snooped is another story. As a younger man I was all about it, but over the last decade I’ve developed a healthy skepticism.
