The Space Shuttle program is coming to an end. Nothing we can do about that at this point. What we can do is help it go out in style. NASA is taking votes for what song should wake up the astronauts to face a day in space, and the Star Trek theme, by Alexander Courage, is one of the choices. Right now it’s neck and neck with a Rush song, which is sort of infuriating since those fuckers ain’t even from Amurca.

Click here to go vote, and please do so early and often. Let’s end the space shuttle program with some optimism and hope directly channeled from Gene Roddenberry’s vision for the starbound future of mankind.
