fwdeIn Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Robert Redford and Paul Newman proved themselves to be one of the all time great screen duos. They reteamed only once, for The Sting (which is getting a new DVD, by the way). "All these years went by and nobody came up with any ideas that were anything but corny and kind of low grade so we just decided probably that wasn’t going to happen," Redford told Reuters.

But now something has come up and it looks like the reunion may take place, and maybe the guys can share their Geritol. The film would be an adaptation of Bill Bryson’s best selling travel book, A Walk in the Woods. Bryson and an old college friend attempted to walk the entire 2200 Appalachian Trail, and the book tells of their adventures. It’s apparently very funny, and may involve voyeur bears. It’s a Peeping Yogi!

“[T]he real question is whether he can remember his lines or not," Redford said, ridiculing his 80 year old friend, and belittling all the senior citizens who helped make this nation what it is. That leatherfaced bastard! "I think Paul and I are probably alike in that we’re reluctant to talk about something that is not real yet, but we are talking about it,” he continued, showing that dementia isn’t just for the over-70 set.
