This one kinda snuck up on me — especially since Elisha Cuthbert is on my "watch" list. And by that I mean "restraining order".
I get kind of a sleazy vibe from this trailer for The Quiet that I like — Cuthbert plays a high school cheerleader whose dad seems to really dig her, like in the non-metaphorical sense, so she plots to kill him and confides in a recently adopted goddaughter who happens to be deaf (played by Camilla Belle, who unfortunately heard the phone ring with the offer for When a Stranger Calls).
Martin Donovan plays the oily incestor, and Cuthbert wears a cheerleader uniform. And hey, there’s Carmela Soprano and Iceman! Oh, and Elisha Cuthbert in a cheerleader outfit!
