The CW has pretty much guaranteed that no one over the age of slightly spoiled milk is going to be tuning into their upstart little network next season as they’ve finalized their schedule. Plus, by doing away with that pesky weekend programming, the Chicks Watching netlet is trimming the fat and keeping themselves a lean mean tween machine.

Now of course, the only shows that yours truly gives a damn about in this Romper Room line-up are the ever awesome Supernatural, which just came off of a season that rivals the best of Angel or Buffy, and formerly Smallville, with which I was hanging until that shittastic season finale. This is reportedly the last season for both shows, and whereas Supernatural is hanging steady in its old slot, Smallville gets shuffled off to the Friday night happy hunting grounds.
Leading into Supernatural will be the Twilight ripoff (actually it’s sort of the other way around as the Vampire Diaries books came along first, but that’s already more thought than I’m willing to commit to the subject), Vampire Diaries, about a girl in love with a pair of vampire brothers.
Also, in the CW’s best attempt to bring back 1992, 90210 spinoff Melrose Place is joining its fellow reboot on Tuesday nights. And the de facto Models, Inc. reboot, Beautiful Life, a sudser about young models, matches up perfectly with that other model show I won’t be watching, America’s Next Top Model. Not making a return are cancelled CW shows Reaper, Everybody Hates Chris and Privileged. And just in case you honestly cared *chortle*, the Gossip Girl spinoff didn’t make it out of puberty.
And there you have it. With a few last minute wheelings and dealings, like Medium officially heading over to CBS, the line-ups are set for autumn.
