When you have Anthony Hopkins, you don’t need a narrator for your trailer. But you do need a generic metal riff to play in the background, apparently.
The second trailer for Benicio Del Toro’s hair-raising horror film (sorry) The Wolfman has just reared its ugly head on Apple. Head on over there to check it out. It’s still somewhat intriguing and looks like it could go either way, but I can’t be the only one rooting for a good werewolf movie. It’s been far too long. Course, then if it hits big we’ll have werewolf movies up the ass over the next few years- werewolf romcoms and sitcoms and animated films. (shudder)
But the movie already looks fantastic and the werewolf effects seem appropriately grotesque. Can’t wait to see the transformation- someone’s gotta top An American Werewolf in London one day, right?
We’ll find out when it hits right before Valentine’s Day next year.
