While people often rant about needless remakes, they usually don’t get too worked up about The Stepfather. While the original film was one damn fine and thrilling experience, you can never get enough domestic violence. Just ask my wife!
The first trailer hit the net today that shows how close the movie looks to the original- some of the same beats and lines are already on display. Spoiler alert- the Stepfather’s not a nice guy.
Nip/Tuck’s Dylan Walsh definitely looks like a nice, menacing bastard here. The Stepfather opens October 16th.
