Antiquities comedies! You don’t get a lot of those these days. Harold Ramis’ first feature since The Ice Harvest (woefully underseen, by the way. If that shows up streaming online legally it’ll definitely be a Watch This Now entry) has a trailer and it’s… interesting. I don’t fully know what to make of this movie; I wasn’t wild about the script, and the trailer sells some things that weren’t sold on the page, but it feels really old fashioned. In a schticky kind of way. But it also looks funny enough, like a movie that could have been a Richard Pryor/Gene Wilder vehicle. And like it’ll give historians a seizure.
