Elizabeth Rohm has joined the cast of Abduction, opposite taylor Lautner for Lionsgate.  John Singleton is directing the project, about a young man who goes on
the run after discovering that his parents aren’t his own when he sees
his baby picture on a missing persons website. Röhm is set to play the
Lautner character’s biological mother, a role in which Emily Mortimer
had previously been cast. 
Rohm is best known for her TV work in Law & Order, Heroes and Angel.  She will next be seen in the film Aftermath.

Gina Gershon, Danny Glover and Robert Patrick have signed onto the indie feature, Five Minarets in New YorkThe movie is the English-language debut of Turkish writer-director
Mahsun Kirmizigul, whose previous film, “I Saw the Sun,” was
Turkey’s foreign-language film Oscar submission last year. Gershon
will star as Maria, the wife of a Turkish scholar who is arrested
by federal authorities after being wrongfully accused of a
crime
.  Gershon also has The Exodus of Charlie Wright upcoming, while Glover has multiple projects in the works, including Heart of Blackness, Legendary, Son of Morning and Age of the Dragons among others.  Patrick will be seen in Kill Speed and Edgar Floats.

Virginia Madsen will be joining Amanda Seyfried in Red Riding Hood for Warner Bros.  Catherine Hardwicke is directing the supernatural thriller that also
stars Lukas Haas, Shiloh Fernandez, Julie Christie and Gary Oldman.
David Leslie Johnson (“Orphan”) wrote the script, which is set in a
village haunted by a werewolf. 
Madsen will be playing Seyfried’s mother.  Madsen will next be seen in ABC’s Scoundrels.

Christian Bale is reportedly in talks to star in the Zack Snyder-produced, The Last Photograph.  Kurt Jonstad (300) wrote the script.  Premise revolves around a photograph that becomes the catalyst for a journey two men undertake through war-torn Afghanistan.   Niels Arden Oplev (The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo) is reportedly the frontrunner to direct.  Bale has Christopher Nolan’s Batman 3 on the horizon, as well as Terence Malick’s next project.
