Freddie Prinze, Jr. has landed a part on Season 8 of 24. HE will be playing Davis Cole, a Marine who runs Field Ops in the New York branch of the newly-reconstituted CTU and who looks up to Jack Bauer. Joining him will be the already announced Anil Kapoor, Chris Diamantopoulos, as
the president’s new chief of staff; and John Boyd as a CTU systems
analyst, Jennifer Westfeldt, who plays a journalist, and Nazneen
Contractor as Kapoor’s daughter.

Seann William Scott and Adam Brody are set to join Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan in Kevin Smith’s action Comedy, A Couple of Dicks. The script, by Robb and Mark Cullen, follows a maverick cop
(Willis) and his partner (Morgan) who, while tracking a valuable
stolen baseball card, tangle with a memorabilia-obsessed gangster
and rescue a Mexican beauty who holds the key to millions in
laundered drug money. Scott plays a thief known as the Shit Bandit for the souvenirs he
leaves at his robberies. Brody is an abrasive detective not happy
to be working with Willis and Morgan.
Joss Whedon has made mention of his interest in bring Summer Glau aboard Dollhouse. Said the ever-busy Whedon: “If anybody thinks [bringing Summer onto Dollhouse] hasn’t occurred to me already then they have not met me,” he says. “I mentioned it to her before [SCC]
was canceled. I was like, ‘You know, we should get you in the ‘house.’
But first we have to come up with something that works.” He also added, “Summer would be perfect to play an active, but she’s done that [type
of role] a lot,” he says. “I’d rather see her play someone who talks
too much. The most fun I have is when I get somebody who’s good and
comfortable at doing something, and then I make them do something else. Summer said to me, ‘I would like to play a normal girl before I die of extreme old age.

Warehouse 13 is recycling Sci-Fi Channel talent by having Stargate: Atlantis’ Joe Flannigan, Battlestar Galactica’s Tricia Helfer, Michael Hogan and Mark Sheppard and Eureka‘s Joe Morton, Erica Cerra and Niall Matter guest star on the show this upcoming season. Other guest stars include Gossip Girl‘s James Naughton; Roger Rees of Cheers; and Ivan Sergei from Crossing Jordan. The show centers on two Secret Service agents (Eddie McClintock and Joanne Kelly) who find
themselves abruptly transferred to Warehouse 13, a massive, top-secret
storage facility in windswept South Dakota that houses every strange
artifact, mysterious relic, fantastical object and supernatural
souvenir ever collected by the U.S. government.
John Lithgow has joined the cast of Showtime’s Dexter for Season 4. Lithgow will play an unassuming suburbanite who has been living a double life
for decades as a prolific serial murderer known as the “Trinity Killer”
for his penchant for committing his homicides in batches of three.
