Overture Films just sent over this teaser poster for The Crazies, which is of course the remake of George Romero’s film from 1973.
Breck Eisner (Thoughtcrimes, Sahara) directs from a screenplay by Scott Kosar (The Machinist, Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2003).
The plot seems the same- small town infected by a strange toxin that
makes people go crazy and then kill each other- but the synopsis says
that it’s only loosely based on the original film. Is the government
responsible once again? We have to at least see the iconic white hazmat
suits, right?
