It’s hard to mine much of anything from this teaser trailer for Europa Report, a film by Sebastián Cordero that returns Sharlto Copley to science fiction. From what I can decipher, we’re possibly looking at another found astronaut footage film ala the dreadful Apollo 18. Hopefully Europa doesn’t suffer from that film’s particular brand of awful. Some cool footage here, and I’m intrigued to see how this shot-in-a-warehouse-in-Brooklyn production translates to scary sci-fi.
Right now Europa is without release date, but expect that to change in the near future:
