http://chud.com/nextraimages/_Z8E7008.jpgThank God New Line’s publicity department sent an eight meg Sex and the City publicity photo, because my Outlook email box wasn’t behaving slow enough for my purposes. The image to the right is celebrating the start of shooting for the Sex and the City feature film and I must admit that I own the whole series on DVD and have even watched and liked it. One day I hope to have my penis returned to me, but in the meantime I’ll maintain a positive vibe regarding the film about ladies and their problems and the men who grope them.

It can’t be as bad as The Devil Wears Prada, right? That movie made me want to incinerate my trousers in the theater lobby.

I don’t know how I feel about a theatrical Cynthia Nixon project being out there though.

Here’s the official release:

Sarah
Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon are reprising
their roles from the original HBO series.

The show’s longtime executive
producer, Michael Patrick King, is set to write and direct.
Additionally, Chris Noth, David
Eigenberg, Evan Handler and Jason Lewis will return as the women’s love
interests. Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Hudson (Dreamgirls)
has also joined the cast of the film and will play Carrie Bradshaw’s assistant,
a new character to be introduced in the film.
