I’m excited about this one. I’m a huge fan of Tom Clancy movies and love each and every one that has been released thus far. It’s an evergreen franchise and with Mr. Clancy’s sad passing the franchise is born anew. Not based on an existing novel Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit launches the Chris Pine era for the character and if everything works out we’ll have a wonderful new franchise to look forward to every few years. And what a great opportunity for Kevin Costner to reach a whole new audience.
