I’m just going to say what we’re all thinking.
This is the one. This is the Saw film where shit goes down!
Who would have guessed that the imaginative journey the Saw franchise has taken us on could have impacted our lives like it has. It’s hard to fathom that it is already time for another probing examination of our very nature, the human spirit, and just what does it really mean to be alive. And who could forget the friendships made along the way? For Saw fans, this is like Jigsaw and the Half-blood Prince. I’ve got a hunch that, like the sixth entry in the Harry Potter franchise, Saw VI is going to be more of a character piece than the previous films. Besides, I’ve always thought the roman numeral thing embodied class.

The official site is also online and contains a nifty teaser animation and a countdown clock to the first trailer, which is set to premiere on Facebook later today. Saw VI hits theaters on October 23, 2009.
