What’s that? Roger Corman isn’t making any more movies? Hah! The legend will never stop, and his latest project is going after the internet. Netflix just announced that they’ve teamed up with the man to produce a webseries called Splatter.

“Splatter” is the haunting tale of rock-and-roll legend Johnny Splatter, a musical genius who accumulated as many hit records as he did enemies on his climb up the fame ladder.  His sudden death, ruled a suicide, brings a small circle of professional parasites and hangers-on to his Hollywood Hills mansion for the reading of his last will and testament.  But as his “frenmies” come to pick the bones clean, Johnny has returned for a deadly encore long after what they thought was his final curtain.

Splatter is played by the one, the only- Corey Feldman, and the series is being directed by one Joe Dante, who you might have heard of. The most unique thing about the series though is that viewers will decide who will live and die in the show. Finally! The first episode will hit the Netflix website on October 29th, with the last two hitting on November 6th and 13th. While you’ll be able to check out the series online it will also be available on any Netflix ready device- like your Xbox 360- so you can watch it from the comfort of your couch.

“When Netflix approached me with this unique idea, I was truly intrigued about creating something that left the ending up to the audience,” said Corman.  “Making content for the web is a natural progression for me, but ‘Splatter’ is a rare opportunity to involve my horror fans who really love being a part of the process.”

Great to see the man is still working, even with the Oscar in the bag.
