Kind of funny how, on the same day she ends
up on a poster on which you
might not expect to see her, Milla Jovovoich doesn’t appear on one that you
would. But there it is below, an international poster from Thailand
for the upcoming Resident Evil: Afterlife. Giving his
best Risky
Business-meets-Blade look
is Shawn Roberts as baddie Albert Wesker. Looks like he’s none too
happy with some Redfields (Wentworth Miller, Ali Larter) and is looking to go
all T-virus on ’em.
The official synopsis: In a world ravaged by a virus
infection, turning its victims into the
Undead, Alice (Jovovich), continues on her
journey to find survivors and
lead them to safety. Her deadly battle with the
Umbrella Corporation
reaches new heights, but Alice gets some
unexpected help from an old
friend. A new lead that promises a safe haven
from the Undead takes them
to Los Angeles, but when they arrive the city is
overrun by thousands
of Undead – and Alice and her comrades are about

Although
it’s a little Matrix-y, I kind of like the simplicity of this
poster. Roberts sells the flick just with a look. Resident Evil:
Afterlife also stars Kim Coates, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Spencer
Locke, Boris Kodjoe and Sienna Guillory and opens in 3D on September
10th.
