Watching the below clip reminds me of tossing a movie in the ole DVD carousel and flipping the audio to the Frog language track for shits and giggles…although considering the pre-release press and stories about Sommers being fired/unfired, we may get more of the former than the latter when G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra premieres. Apparently Paramount and Spyglass are making sure that the French are included in their pre-release hype, including even more footage from the chase of the Baroness and Storm Shadow through the streets of Paris. Which is good, because we haven’t seen any of that yet…
Anyway, four minutes+ have appeared on YouTube, and it’s all in en Francais. So if you parlez, then by all means, obtenez un earful de la langue internationale de l’amour. For us speakers of the Queen’s tongue, just watch the shit blowin’ up, plus some better glimpses of the accelerator suits in action, some Matrix Reloaded impossible bike stunts and CGI cars, some Knight Rider morphing action and the pre-mission chewing out by Adewale as Heavy Duty. The whole thing premieres August 7th.
