Usually viral marketing is reserved for before a movie comes out. Not so with Prometheus:
“I am a law only for my kind, I am no law for all.” Ol’ (young) Weyland’s quoting German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche there. So that’s um… cool, I guess.
The date lands on a Thursday, and it happens to be the day that, in Prometheus chronology, Weyland Industries is/was founded. That above video was taken from this website, which seems to be where upcoming shizz will be going down.
None of this really ties into the movie yet, and I’m still unclear young Peter Weyland’s necessity in all of this. Could this lead up to a release date for the Blu-ray? Seems unlikely, given the date lands on a Thursday. Could this quite possibly be the lead-up to the announcement of a release date for the Blu-ray? Unknown, but that was a depressing sentence to write – especially if it turns out to be the case.
