poltergeist_remake

Good news! Americans won’t have to wonder much longer if the upcoming remake of Poltergeist is a total wash! Fox has decided to push the movie from its original July 24th release date to a May 22nd release. That means it’ll be competing with Tomorrowland, which is sure to squash it by a pretty wide margin. I suspect Poltergeist will make more money than Melissa McCarthy’s Spy would have on the same date, which explains why Fox has pushed Spy two weeks later, to June 5th. Oh, and Paper Towns, the adaptation of the novel by The Fault In Our Stars author John Green, has been moved back to July 24th. Thanks, Box Office Mojo!
