Hey there Los Angeles Fright fans! Time for another Friday Night Frights! (like us on Facebook, if you dare!)
My sinister cohort Sebastian O’Brien and I have been going all in for October. We wanted to do something special for the Halloween month, and found inspiration right here on CHUD.com — my Franchise Me column! We’ve been doing franchises all month. And we’ve saved the best for last. To mark the Halloween week, this Thursday, 7:30 at The Cinefamily we will be showing a double feature of Phantasm and Phantasm II, with writer/director Don Coscarelli and actor Angus “The Tall Man” Scrimm present to chat about the films!
We’ve had a lot of amazing guests at Friday Night Frights, but this week marks a definite high point.
(Doing multiple films necessitated that we do our shows on Thursdays this month.)
