A clip from Insidious, the latest film from James Wan (Saw), has surfaced on Yahoo! Movies and well, it’s a bit strange to sell a film like this. The clip is titled “What is it?”, which is fitting, because that’s likely that’s what you’ll be saying after watching it.
The fiilm was written by Leigh Whannell (Wan’s partner on Saw and Dead Silence) As you won’t be able to tell from the clip, the film’s about a family that’s trying to prevent evil spirits from taking their comotose kid away to a realm called The Further, which presumably is a bad place to live… coma or not. Sorta like New Jersey.
For my money, James Wan’s best film has been non-horror (the surprisingly entertaining Death Sentence) so we’ll see if he can scare us with some spookier material.
