First, a note of regret. This news is a bit late, as
BAMcinématek’s Bela
Lugosi’s Dead, Vampires Live Forever
fest actually kicked off this
Wednesday. But those of you who love vampire films- real vampire films-
can’t miss this. They’re arguably showing every great vampire film ever
made- everything from Vampyr
to Let The Right One In.

My
ineptitude might have made you miss screenings of Nosferatu and The
Vampire Lovers
the last two days, but tonight is a can’t miss. That’s
when the original Spanish version of Dracula screens, the version that was shot
concurrently with the English version and is – *gasp*- better than Tod
Browning’s.

This is one hell of a horror fest- glad to see that they didn’t see the need to wait till October. Check the full schedule below and the site for tickets!
