I’m not sure what to make of director Michael Hoffman’s Gambit, written by the Coen brothersand itself a remake of the 1966 Shirley MacLaine / Michael Caine film. I just know that this footage from the trailer, which comes to us from Bleeding Cool, isn’t really enough to assess. The cast is certainly in place, with Colin Firth, Alan Rickman and Stanley Tucci in tow to distract from Cameron Diaz particular brand of mediocre. Hopefully we get a peak at a full trailer soon.
