Rumors had been buzzing about Grindhouse and its hard core content with
robust debate volleying back and forth on the boards (join in by clicking here). Devin had
predicted what he’d seen wasn’t NC-17 worthy and the film would most likely get an
R.
Devin is a prophet.
In a quick update to that story from earlier this week, Box Office Mojo is showing the MPAA has slapped Grindhouse with a standard R rating. I haven’t seen the film yet, so I’m not sure where that falls content, but from reports in the New York Post, either some stuff was cut, or the MPAA likes them some Grindhouse beaver.
