I’m looking forward to the next Michael Moore movie not because I want to see it, or because I think the premise (which I will reveal below!) is interesting, but because I anticipate the right wingers losing their fucking minds over it. The right wing has been utterly marginalized, beaten and battered and, most importantly, dismissed by the American people. Now they know how Democrats felt in the 80s. But as the right wing jerkfaces get more marginalized, they get more crazy. And since Michael Moore movies always made them go extra batshit, I imagine they’re going to go doubleplus batshit this time.

Overture has announced they’re going to release the as-yet untitled film on October 2nd, the 20th anniversary of the release of Roger and Me. The subject hearkens back to that film: the economy. Moore’s sights are set on the global economic meltdown and its causes.

Says Moore: “The wealthy, at some point, decided they didn’t have enough wealth.
They wanted more — a lot more. So they systematically set about to
fleece the American people out of their hard-earned money. Now, why
would they do this? That is what I seek to discover in this movie.”

He’s attacking rich people! Fox News is already gearing up in advance to defend that helpless minority of rich folk who control the world.
