January Jones, one of the young ladies from AMC’s breakout smash Mad Men, is making the leap to the big screen in a big way. She just joined the cast of Unknown White Male, the next film in Liam Neeson’s ‘If I Never Stop Working I’ll Never Start Feeling the Pain’ tour, and now she’s signed on to The Hungry Rabbit Jumps.
That name sounds like it means nothing. What it really means, though, is another weird Nic Cage movie; this time Cage joins an underground vigilante group after his wife is criminalized in some way (raped, I’m guessing). Death Wish meets The Star Chamber, I would imagine. Jones would play the wife.
The 30 million dollar picture starts shooting in New Orleans in January. Good old working man Roger Donaldson is directing.
