Heat Vision is reporting that George Lucas is producing a film that has nothing to do with Star Wars. The film is top secret at this point, and the only thing we know about it is that it’s completely CGI, and it’s a musical. It will also apparently feature music from a variety of sources.

Lucas is currently finishing up another film that’s not looking to further tarnish his legacy called Red Tails, an adventure flick about the Tuskegee Airmen that he wrote (oh, well) and executive produced.

As for the untitled musical, Kevin Munroe, director of the surprisingly decent TMNT animated film, will be helming. He just got done creating Dead of Night, the live action adaptation of the horror comic Dylan Dog.that stars Brandon Routh. Along with that it’s known that the script for the musical was written by David Berenbaum (Elf, The Spiderwick Chronicles), but good luck getting any more info than that out of the Skywalker ranch!

Till then, we can only wait for the next Red Letter Media review (or Lucas’s mind-numbing Daily Show interview) and wonder what will come of this all.
