Jordan Peele’s The Twilight Zone: First Episode is Free on YouTube

JORDAN PEELE'S THE TWILIGHT ZONE

Jordan Peele’s The Twilight Zone is getting tremendous buzz. Not only because the director of ‘Get Out’ is having a smash hit with his newest horror flick “Us” at the box office, but also because its pretty damned good.  CBS All Access is betting that the  reboot will convince you to subscribe to their streaming service if you only see it once, and to that end they’ve just released the new series’ first episode, “The Comedian” on YouTube. So you know….the first one is still free.–as long as you’re a US resident, that is.

That episode, The Comedian is actually  based on an episode from the original Twilight Zone, written by the iconic creator of the series: Rod Serling. The Peele’s reboot stars Danny Dworkis, Lucinda Dryzek, and Peter Grant.

It looks like its going to be a grand parade of stars running through the series. Honestly. That Jordan Peele is so hot right now.

This is a list of cast members confirmed to be appearing in The Twilight Zone include: Taissa Farmiga, Zazie Beetz, Betty Gabriel, Seth Rogen, John Cho, Greg Kinnear, Sanaa Lathan, Kumail Nanjiani, Adam Scott, Alison Tolman, Jacob Tremblay, Jessica Williams, DeWanda Wise, Chris O’Dowd, Amy Landecker, Rhea Seehorn, Lucinda Dryzek, Jefferson White, Ginnifer Goodwin, Zabryna Guevara, James Frain, Jonathan Whitesell, Luke Kirby, Ike Barinholtz, Percy Hynes-White, and Steven Yeun.

The video gremlins over at CBS all Access have totally disabled any links to the actual youtube video from being able to play on websites so you just have to copy and past the link below into your browser window to get the video to play.

Its pretty damned decent, and Jordan Peele’s The Twilight Zone seems destined for modern classic hood.

If the rest of the series measures up to the first episode, then we are there for it.
