I guess the Hulk isn’t a villain in Joss Whedon’s The Avengers.

I mean, we all know that Loki is the villain but it’s never been announced if the Hulk is a regular member of the team or he’s a force of nature that they corral like in the first arc of The New Avengers. Either way, with Mark Ruffalo in the mix it’s got a pretty good chance of being good by sheer quality of the choice. Thanks to the long helpful Brian Henne (from here) we’ve got our first glimpse of the team in action.

This is from the licensing show currently happening. We can see the Marvelized likenesses of Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, and the rest (including a look at what to expect from Hawkeye and this new Hulk. From here it looks like the team is intact and “assembled” for action and frankly I hope they don’t spend too much time on the backstory. We’ll have like six films to use as backstory but I like these performers and want to see them all together for quite some time. A lot of money, ego, and time to consider.

Regardless, expect more from this licensing show soon. In fact, I have a Dark Knight Rises article going up next.
