Stevie.Expanding on his big fat acting portfolio, Steve
Buscemi has been sharpening the screenplay/directorial skills on the
side. His latest, Interview, just had U.S. rights picked up by Sony
Classics.

Interview debuted at
Sundance this year and is based on the 2003 Dutch film titled, well,
Interview, where a journalist begrudgingly gets an assignment to
interview a hot young actress who is more famous for her love life and
sex appeal than the actual skill of acting (in perfect casting, hottie pants Sienna Miller plays the starlet). The interview initially
goes badly, but is smoothed out, whereupon they talk, soak their liver,
make out, beat each other up and share dark secrets.

Sony plans to release Interview in July, where it will summarily be eaten alive.
