I’ll go a long way for an Out for Justice joke…

Guy Ritchie’s a weird son of a bitch, huh? Comes out the gate swinging, marries a pop diva, makes a bad movie, makes another one that gets delayed and dumped, and then he has to deal with Alex Rodriguez’s shitstorming marriage to impede on his own personal life. What the fuck, is this TMZ? Who gives a shit, Guy Ritchie has made another crime flick that looks good.

Rocknrolla is hitting our friends across the pond real soon and in theory it’ll be upon us before too long and based on the trailers, images, and synopsis it appears we have as close to a safe bet for a Guy Ritchie flick as we’ve had since Snatch and for assholes with selective memory that film and the one which preceded it are damn fine little ditties.

Maybe it’s best if Guy Ritchie doesn’t stretch his muscles too much in film, because what he does well, he does REAL well. Check below and see for your own damn self.

See the fun trailer HERE. Synopsis and press release mumbly jumbly to follow:

When a Russian mobster orchestrates
a crooked land deal, millions of dollars are up for grabs, and all of
London’s criminal underworld wants in on the action.  Everyone from a
dangerous crime lord to a sexy accountant, a corrupt politician and
down-on-their-luck petty thieves conspire, collude and collide with one
another in an effort to get rich quick.

Gerard
Butler (“300,” “Nim’s Island”) stars as One Two, a street-smart mobster
who has learned to play both sides of the fence. Tom Wilkinson
(Oscar-nominated for “In the Bedroom” and “Michael Clayton”) stars as
the lethal head mobster, Lenny Cole, part of London’s old mob regime,
which is quickly losing ground to the wealthier foreign mob.  Thandie
Newton (“Run Fatboy Run,” “The Pursuit of Happyness”) stars as One
Two’s love interest, Stella, a smart and sexy accountant with ties to
the underworld.  Idris Elba (“28 Weeks Later,” TV’s “The Wire”) stars
as Mumbles, who is One Two’s partner. Chris “Ludacris” Bridges
(“Crash,” “Fred Claus”) stars as Roman, an American trying to break
into the music scene in London. The film also stars Jeremy Piven (TV’s
“Entourage”).
