There’s a new red band clip from I Love You, Man, the Paul Rudd/Jason Segel bromantic comedy that’s opening March 20. This clip isn’t really indicative of the humor in the film – it certainly isn’t a movie that’s filled with bodily function or gross out gags – but it does showcase the movie’s secret weapon, Angry Jon Favreau.
I saw I Love You, Man at Butt-Numb-A-Thon in December and I haven’t been moved to review it simply because I didn’t feel strongly about it either way. It feels like a minor film for both Rudd and Segel, and while there’s nothing wrong with a good minor film, it’s hard to get up the enthusiasm to talk about it that much. I think the movie is worth seeing, but I hope 2009 has funnier in store for us.
