Last night at the Teen Choice Awards Hugh Jackman made some comment that included a reference to getting started on Wolverine 2, which would be set in Japan. He later elaborated on that to MTV, “Japan is where we’re heading, [and] we’re starting to work on it now. We’re in the … first steps of developing that story.”
Well, Hugh and his friends have a high bar set for themselves with X-Men Origins: Wolverine, a movie so stupid it actually makes you feel bad for calling it stupid and then you want to call it special and give it a pat on the shoulder and tell it that you’re so proud of what it’s achieved and that everybody who tries is a winner.
So there you go – the sequel to the superhero movie that makes Daredevil look good is in the early stages, and they’ll be taking Logan to Japan, where his shitty CGI claws can pass through all sorts of Oriental type stuff. Maybe he can wreck a Japanese bathroom. Culture shock!!!!!
