Here’s possibly the biggest news to come out of the San Diego Comic Con, and only CHUD.com is bringing it to you:
I met Don Murphy.
If you’ve been a long time reader of this site, and especially the message boards, you will know that I have been feuding with Don – the producer of Natural Born Killers, From Hell and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, as well as the upcoming Transformers movie – for some time now. It got ugly. Really ugly. In fact, it looked like maybe there would never be an end to it.
But the night that I ran into Don at the San Diego House of Blues, at a party for Showtime’s Masters of Horror, we bickered for a moment and then he extended a hand. "I know you watch Entourage," he said. "So let’s hug it out, bitch."
And so we did.
With that moment a truce was born. One I’m going to do my part to keep. Now Don and I both understand that it’s about the movies, not about the people. But he still can feel free to have a Devin ChildFrog character in any film – I give him permission. It’s too funny to deny.
