It looks like I got a Blu-Ray player just in time. The specs for the DVD/Blu-Ray release of Watchmen hit my email this afternoon, and I like what I see for Blu-Ray.
July 21st is the date, and you can choose from a single DVD theatrical cut or a double disc Director’s Cut for DVD and Blu. I hope the theatrical is included on the honking giant Ultra edition that should hit at the holidays (which I hope has a nice, understated Smiley face cover. This edition has a cover I can live without).
