The real question is: why has it taken so long for a remake of Teen Wolf to hit the starting gate? The property just seems perfect for a redo (in the eyes of studio types, of course), and I’m shocked we haven’t heard of it before.
Moviehole is reporting that the remake is in the earliest stages at Warner Bros right now. The studio is going out to writers and asking them for their take. Here’s mine: go serious! Have it be a dark, serious take on being a teenaged werewolf. Cast Michael London. Call it I Was A Teenage Werewolf… oh wait, that was the movie that Teen Wolf was essentially a remake of itself.
The big question: Will the remake include this guy in the bleachers at the end of the original zipping up his pants?
