Spike Jonze’s new masterpiece, Where the Wild Things Are, has a really wonderful soundtrack that you can listen to online for free right now. You have to sign up to a site called imeem to hear it, but I think the hassle of registration is totally worth it in this case. But if this works the way I think it works, you should be able to listen to the entire album through the widget below.
The music is by Karen O and the Kids; essentially it’s the Yeah Yeah Yeahs members of Deerhunter and The Dead Weather. The music is vibrant and moving, just like the film. Or so I hear.
