The big trailer for Grindhouse is out, and I hate to revert to internet movie geek type, but it fucking kicks ass. It is just a terrific trailer, and one that really has the perfect feel of the grindhouse trailers of the day – this trailer could fit quite nicely on any of Synapse Films’ 42nd Street Forever trailer compilation DVDs.
The trailer also does something nice for us internet worry-warts – it confirms that the movie is not being split into two films, which was something that seemed plausible as the length of the thing blossomed (I have a script for DEATH PROOF that would come in at 2 hours by itself). It seems to me that you’re going to have to be a serious asshole to not get some enjoyment out of this film.
