I brought the news about David Cronenberg’s son, Brandon, making a film a few months ago.
It’s in the spirit of his Father’s films in that it deals with crazy people who can’t get enough of celebrities. They go so far as to want to get the DISEASES that inflict their favorite stars. A worker at the clinic that provides the diseases, Syd, smuggles out samples to piracy groups (yes, even in diseases there’s piracy.), and somehow he contracts the same disease that afflicted a major starlet named Hannah. Now he’s being pursued by collectors and fans, all the while he needs to discover just what exactly happened that led to her death.
Pretty cool huh?
