World War Z is still on, even if it is dragging itself to production with all the speed of one if its nameless and ravenous undead. It will get there. Underestimating speed is how the zombie plague happens.
Deadline reports that Matthew Fox and Ed Harris are in talks to join Marc Forster’s highly anticipated adaptation alongside Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos and James Badge. (Look at that! It’s a cast!)
Deadline doesn’t say who Harris and Fox are playing. I haven’t read the book, but I have to assume there is a crusty general who wants to defeat the undead at all costs, and that would be Harris. If there is a politician who lies to everyone, costing millions of innocent lives, that will be Fox.
Production is set to begin this month in Malta, where we will see the world end, softly narrated by Pitt.
