Just when you think you never want to see another Star Wars parody as long as you live (no, I’m not talking about the Prequels. ZING!), along comes Peter Serafinowicz with his saga of Darth Vader in Love. You may remember Serafinowicz as Pete in Shaun of the Dead, or as Duane in Spaced. But most people will remember him as the voice of Darth Maul in The Phantom Menace, so seeing him poke fun at Star Wars on his new show (confusingly titled The Peter Serafinowicz Show) is some nice meta humor. Plus, the skits are damn funny, and they actually do a better job of connecting the emo ‘Nooooo!’ Vader from the end of Revenge of the Sith with the Vader from the 77 original than anything Lucas has produced. Enjoy Darth Vader in Love.
