There’s a new trailer for Avatar floating around out there. Scoping it out gives one a better feel of what the film is: it’s Dances With Wolves on another planet. If those Pandoran horses are called C’isco and there’s a Na’vi running around named Two Socks, I’m alerting Kevin Costner.
Be that as it may, there’s quite a bit more character stuff here, as you see Sam Worthington in action as both human and Na’vi, laying the Ava-mack on Neytiri and trying to keep the Na’vi Trail of Tears from going down. I’ll take Cameron at his word that this is going to be spectacular in theatres, because I’m still getting a Kashyyyk deleted scenes vibe from Episode III. Still, some interesting looking stuff to be found here and I’m definitely going to be checking it out.
