Tomorrow I board a jet airplane and head out West. I’ll be spending some days in LA catching up with friends before going south to attend the San Diego Comic-Con – a massive event where you’ll also find CHUD.com’s Nick Nunziata and Dave Davis. I’m sure there will be a more formal call to arms next week, but if you’re heading to the Con, you should find us.
If you do find us, you may be dressed as a Spider-Man villain. Why? Here are the deetz:
On July 16th from 10am – 7pm, come dressed as your favorite Spider-Man comic villain and we will take a photograph of you. Photographs will be taken at the Sony Pictures Booth where you will also be able to view the HellCycle from Ghost Rider, the Stargate from Stargate-SG1 and costumes from Underworld 2. The first round of photographs will be posted on the official Spider-Man site September 12th. Each week we will post a new round of pictures and users will vote on their favorite photos for 5 weeks. One finalist will be selected each week until there are 5 finalists remaining.
Spider-Man 3 filmmakers will judge the 5 final photos and one grand prize winner will be announced on Halloween day, October 31, 2005 on the official Spider-Man site!
So get your costume ready and we’ll see you at Comic-Con!
