31 Days of Horror: The Sequel – Day 25
“Psycho 2” pays tribute to its predecessor rather than attempt to upstage it.
“Psycho 2” pays tribute to its predecessor rather than attempt to upstage it.
“Scanners 2: The New Order” is more or less the same as the first one.
“House 2: The Second Story” is a screwball comedy barely masquerading as a horror movie.
‘Waxwork 2: Lost in Time’ is a delightfully dumb movie worth watching again and again.
‘Puppet Master 2’ delivers on more puppet action but is like a worse version of the original.
‘Warlock: Armageddon’ shares little more than a title and a villain with its predecessor, but it is bananas.
‘Wishmaster 2’ works mostly just because of the actor playing the titular character.
Every sequel to ‘The Howling’ is awful, but ‘The Howling 2: Your Sister’s a Werewolf’ is the absolute worst by far.
‘Candyman: Farewell to the Flesh’ both succeeds and fails by doing its own thing.
‘Ben’ a spin-off film was ill-advised/ a sequel where the bad guy wins is so unwise/ you should have just let it go/ but I want you to know/though it may make you sad/ your movie’s really bad. (Your movie’s really bad.)
