http://chud.com/nextraimages/athf.jpgA terrible thing happened to our nation in September of 2001 – Aqua Teen Hunger Force went on the air. Now it’s getting a movie, Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film For Theaters, and the fans of the anthropomorphic happy meal will get to see them on the big screen this March. All of the show regulars are back, along with special guest voices Bruce Campbell and Neil Peart of Rush.

The movie is described as “an action-adventure epic that reveals the mysterious origins of Meatwad, Frylock and Master Shake. When an immortal piece of exercise equipment threatens the balance of galactic peace, it is up to the Aqua Teen Hunger Force to run away from it. Peril escalates when the Plutonians team up with the Cybernetic Ghost of Christmas Past to strive for ultimate control of the sinister deadly device.”

Hey, have fun all of you fans of the show. I would say that I don’t get it, but I think that I actually do get it but it doesn’t appeal to me. It makes me sad, because I feel like it should appeal to me, but most of the humor seems so obvious that of course stoned out character rappers love it. But maybe I’m wrong – what episodes should I seek out to convince me that Aqua Teen Hunger Force is something more than just jokes for 14 year old computer nerds (and Danger Doom)?
