With the English language being such a wonderful thing, you’d expect that we’d be able to come up with another name for a sea wall. Overseas it’s spelled ‘groyne’, which is already a step better. As it stands, I think it sends mixed signals when you ask someone if they want to hook up at the groin. Either they’re be sadly distressed when they show up and they’re standing at a sea wall or really sadly distressed when they show up and they AREN’T at a sea wall.
Just write this off as another example of how language abuses us.
On another note, would anyone be interested in hitting the mountain clit with me this weekend?
